amazing! transformed my mixes!
danireland 24.04.2026
I have struggled with my tonal balance and volumes in my tracks since 2018 when I started - first with HD650s , then Beyer DT 1990 pros ... nothing ever sounded the same compressed on a streaming site using airpod pros. Which was quite demotivating tbh as on the beyers my mixes sounded good. Playing live on a PA system in February alarmed me further as my bass and sub mix completely overwhelmed the rest of my mixes and it really threw me off. I was about to consider investing in speakers and room treatment to check my mixes when a friend , a pro drummer with a recording studio advised me to check out the Slate VSX headphones and the very week I checked I saw the Immersion Ones were coming out. I got sucked into a rabbit hole of mixphones videos on youtube and understood that for proper headphones mixing you need really high headroom with a headphones amp ( I got the topping DX5) and planars are king of low distortion when you EQ the bass to harman curve. Fast foward to my first track mixed with VSX and it was soooo much tighter and better sounding , especially as with my original mix in the nightclub emulation on VSX reproduced the exact same issues i experienced in the live gig I did. This week ive produced a song tracking with the VSX software off and the tonal balance was already nearly correct so I just needed to do some small tweaks using the studio and club rooms. amazing. what a time saver! and confidence booster! 100% worth the money and now I really don't need speakers which is brilliant as I live in an apartment building and blasting a sub would piss everyone off including my cats lol.

Excellent Sound and Amazing VSX 6 Software
cengb 27.04.2026
I’m really happy with Slate Digital Immersive One. The sound is impressive, and the VSX 6 software works great. It makes mixing much easier and more reliable, especially when checking mixes in different virtual rooms. Overall, I really like it and would definitely recommend it.

Sehr geil!
