With the MacBook M1 Max chip, some glitches. May be only my case.
This is a great interface and all the good is there of course. The 4k switch is great and the handling is nice too. I have experienced a very weird issue in my case where, once you plug in the sound card, it sometimes makes all the sounds down 1/8th of pitch and 1/8 slowed down. It's a weird glitch that resolves if I unplug and plug in a couple of times. Just be aware if you're using a MacBook with M1 Max, you may experience the same issues and it's just a tiny bit that makes this product feel less reliable than others.

I use this interface with a pair of Adam T5V, and it works great.
The 4K preamp sim works great with my Aston Spirit for voice and guitar alike, it also gives a little body to the guitar sound when plugging direct to use with Amp Sims.
The level monitors are useless, but i upgraded from a gen 1 Focusrite Scarlet and I'm ok with this. Also, the headphone jack in the back is very inconvenient.
All in all, a great interface for not a lot of money.
Other than that

Perfect for radio production and two track recording
The dual headphone outs, each with volume, and a separate volume for speakers means that its pretty perfect for simple recording.
It has two mono inputs, which are great 95% of the time, but I do miss another stereo input. But given the price and quality, its close to perfect.
I love this audio interface. I’ve had a few and used a bunch, this is the only one I’ve truly loved.

Clarity and Warmth!
Whilst looking for an audio interface, I stumbled upon the ssl line. I Did a little research, and decided to pull the trigger on it. When I received it I was delighted, it’s beautiful, feels incredibly robust and is very well made. That and all of the free software and plug ins is a great start to home recording. The 4k button is magic, and my only complaint is a very slight latency issue.

Great budget interface!
The knobs are sturdy. Love the 4k button which enhances harmonic distortion smoothly! Will give a 5 star rating for features if it has loopback function but it might not be that important to some users.
Anyway, great interface!
Anyway, great interface!

One of the best entry-level audio interfaces
At this price point, there are no contenders, I think; perhaps only the new line of low-budget Universal Audio interfaces could be put in the same basket, with comparable quality, reliable operation, and cool sound. This is the best entry-level interface on the market, I would dare to say.

love it!
As much I have loved this ssl audio interface that I have near 2 years, but I found also some disadvantages. Type C cable is not stable which is dangerous, a wrong move could destroy it. Also the buttons of ph. power, line, and Hi-Z don't work great, like the quality of them. You push it to enable it but it does not always enable the setting and u should move it a little. Something else I noticed is for 300 Euros mic, it's unacceptable to not support 250-ohm headphones. This interface has a 10 ohm interface, which couldn't believe when I found it! Otherwise, great sound, great feedback, great features, nice build, just another gold SLL machine with its disadvantages.

Quality sound, not so great build
Having had Apogee Duet, Apollo (Silver) and Focusrite Cards before, I can confirm that the sound quality is on par with Apogee or UAD.
The sturdiness of the build though is not that great. One of the "4k" buttons fell after clicking it 10 times max.. While the front and back plate are metal, the side is made of plastic which give it a cheap feel.
The meters are stepped way too wide.
The knobs are great though.

great build quality and amazing sound
upgraded from focusrite 2i4, the "pre-amp" on this interface sounds better to me, and with the additional features (4K button, 2 dual headphones, and the hi-z button) it's definitely an upgrade. build quality is amazing, and the interface also looks very good!
