Die Sommer TheBoxx Leer- 16-Kanal Stagebox habe ich gekauft, um etwas zum basteln zu haben, das ich hinterher auch gut gebrauchen kann. Die Box ist optimal verarbeitet, extrem stabil mit genügend Platz um Kabel und Buchsen und evtl. auch noch Übertrager unterzubringen.

Nachteil: die Blende zum Herausführen des Kabels muß separat bestellt werden. Das ist leider eine Sonderbestellung aus einer Vielzahl möglicher Optionen (nur für Kabel, für runde oder eckige Multipin-Stecker, ohne Durchführung ...), die leicht schief gehen kann. Selbstbau lohnt sich nur, wenn man viele unterschiedliche oder ungebräuchliche Stecker/Buchsentypen verbauen will.

Wenn man gute Komponenten kauft, wird es auf jeden Fall wesentlich teurer als ein Standardmodell zu kaufen: glaubt nicht, ihr kommt dadurch billiger weg, als die Leute, die das professionell machen und entsprechende Rabatte auf die Einzelteile haben.
