Man liest ja immer wieder von Qualitätsproblemen bei Solar aber bei dieser meiner Solar gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.
Sie klingt hervorragend, der matte Hals spielt sich schnell und präzise, perfekt für meine doch recht großen Hände.
Das einzige, das ich zu meckern habe ist der recht schmale Abstand zwischen den Tunern. Der Abstand ist wirklich sehr schmal.
Das ist aber meckern auf hohem Niveau wie ich finde.
Die Pickups sind sehr knackig, deutlich und knurrig, besonders in D oder C, C# klingt bei mir an Orange am fiesesten.
Die Form sagt mir eh zu, bin einfach ein Les Paul-Typ. Die Solar wiegt jedoch gefühlt die Hälfte meiner Paula. Die hat zwar mehr Charakter für bluesiges und drop D wie ich finde, die Solar ist aber in allem tieferen wunderbar aufgehoben.
