Genuine Shure part.
Used in tandem with the Millenium MA-2040. I bought a second hand Shure SM-58 which didn't come with the original clamp, so this was the perfect solution to that problem.
- It's a genuine Shure part so it's built very well.
- Fits the SM58 perfectly.
- I expect it to last a long time!
- It's a bit stiff to get the mic in, but it works fine.
- No adapter is required for the MA-2040, since it uses a 5/8" connector.
Highly recommended if you're missing your original clamp!

Its a classis
I've used the clamp many a time for live and studio scenarios. The clamp can hold most handheld microphones and also some small diaphragm condensers. There are no cons to this clamp. It does the job well. It is also very strong meaning it will not break. I have had a few non-branded clamps and they have broken. This one will not break.

The best clamp for a microphone. Secure grip, and highly flexible. Also works great with other non-Shure microphones, as long as the diameter is similar to the SM58.

Original accessory is better
Lost my microphone clamp after a gig; I first replaced it with a "commercial" one, but it never worked good: once I even saved mike from hitting the floor. Finally I ordered this on Thomann - you can use Amazon account; it got delivered in two days in a perfect packaging, as usual.
This clamp is perfect for my "ice-cream" Shure SM58. I would always recommend original accessories.
