Seymour Duncan JB Jr
A medium output Humbucker for strats which I've installed in Series mode for the coils and split coils via a Super switch (4 pole 5 way). This pickup is for the Bridge position. Chunky Rhythm sound cuts through in the mix and for high gain soloing the way this pickup sounds so smooth and biting without any of the all too common harshness is nothing short of amazing. I find that as this is not the highest output Humbucker that it's a little hard to drive the Distortion channel of my Bugera 333XL and Ashdown FA60 Tube head. Using a Stompbox (using a RAT or MXR Distortion +) overcomes this and allows for a really fluid clear lead tone. Super pickup with no 50Hz Hum.

I love this pickup so much!
I had this pickup on every strat I own! I just love it so much.
It doesn't sound like a 'junior' version to me at all, when using it with high-gain tones it really feels like a great humbucker. But when using it for more clean-tones it has a single-coil vibe to it as well, which I love. The more gain you use, the more it starts to stand out to me!
So overall, sounds fantastic with clean tones, sounds amazing with high-gain!

After 20 years of playing strat I still didnt find the right bridge humbucking pickup for my guitar. This is the closest for my needs, but I still have double thougts to put back the original single coil.
