The tonal difference to my original Burstbuckers is more subtle than expected, but it scrubs off the softness and (to my ear) ads a slightly sharper, more defined tone. The difference between the neck and bridge is very clear, the Jazz being quieter and softer, which plays into exactly what I was looking for.

I like the anniversary set, there's no coil splitting, keeping the guitar simple... They also don't have any big branding or logos printed on them.

I love how the zebra look changes this guitar, the previous had shiny steel covers. It's looking less country and western and more 90s alternative...

eine wahre Offenbarung !!

Schon seit über 40 Jahren begleiten mich der SH-2N und der SH-4B resp. TB-4B in meinem langen Gitarristenleben als Vollprofi und immer wieder hatte ich das Gefühl, noch andere PU´s verschiedener Hersteller testen zu müssen, um dann schlussendlich zur Einsicht zu kommen, dass ich das ganze Geld dafür besser in einen schönen Urlaub mit meiner lieben Frau investiert hätte ! Dieses Set ist eine echte Offenbarung in meiner Gibson Les Paul Traditional und kommt nun auch in meine weisse GIBSON SG ´61 rein, sofern die long Legs dort keine Probleme machen ! So fett, definiert und schön hat meine Paula noch NIE geklungen ! Ende der Suche ! Diese, noch auf den alten Maschinen handgefertigten PU´s, lassen definitiv keine Wünsche mehr offen und damit macht man mit Sicherheit NICHTS falsch .... Check it out !
