Sennheiser E 945

Good mic for loud places.

945 Compared to beta 58
Less muddy on the lows and generally less lows
More highs to the point that you might feel a bit too forward on the vocals.
You can actually sing close to the grill and the pa wont get distorted
Good build quality and design

So you need e945 if you need to come on top of the music easily and not have feedback and muddy lows. Plug and play without problems.

Overall a fantastic addition to my gear. Great for low volume live vocals against a loud rock band, but just prone to picking up highs from cymbals if you’re positioned in front of the kit.

I'm a big fan of Shure mics, particularly the SM57 and 58's that are everywhere and a classic for good reason. But as an upgrade from those mics, the E954 is a great choice. They're louder and clearer than the Shure offerings, and have better off-axis rejection.

Great quality at this price point.

Great gain and very noticeably better than other top brands for not giving feedback.

An on/off switch would be nice
