A wonderful value-for-money microphone!
I bought this microphone about 2 years ago. I needed a cheap yet effective microphone and with this microphone I struck gold!
I have used it or everything from vocals to guitar, bass, and drums! I've used it on everyone of my recordings since I got it and it has never yet me down. Not once has it cut off and given me any grief. I currently use it as my vocal microphone as a backing singer in a band and I'm always told how my vocals are very clear, even compared to our lead vocalist who uses an "industry standard" microphone.
This microphone is built like a tank and despite my butter fingers it hasn't eve chipped the paint! If you're thinking of buying this microphone I guarantee you that you will not buy twice, unless you want another one to add to your arsenal!

Nice price not a bad sound
On trial this mic is very toppy and needs top end and middle tamed but is very responsive and as good as the Shure Sm58. Mic nice looking and feels good 4*

Great value for money!
Great value for money for this Mic! I was searching for a dinamic microphone to Shure and I found this alternative to Shure. Perfect for male low-baritone vocal range, the construction is very solid and tough. I use this Mic to sing in a rock band, the response is very good and I also like to say that there's no feedback.

Very good mic
I'm using the e835s since one year now for non professional recording, coupled with a Behringer UMC 404 Sound card
Quite good as expected on voice recording, it has been also good to record a snare drum.
Bought in bundle with a mic stand and cable, good value for the price.

Sennheiser E835 S
Great Mic for the price, ward sound and equally at home with vocals or acoustic instruments. I have a number of these and reckon they are purfect for the money.

I wanted a mic to compare with the Shure 58s we use live.
This mic is perfect. It feels like it has more presence that the 58.
But of course its all opinion, feel and depends on your singer.
They are little cheaper than the 58 but they are my weapon of choice for live singing now.
