It has a nice box and is overpriced a lot like an engagement ring.
This could double use as it looks like a ring box and one size fits all with the thumb screw.
It looks nice too.

The ligature does what I need it to. The reed is secure, I'm not worried it will break, and it looks pretty good as well. The only thing I noticed is the screw occasionally feeling a bit janky and iffy, but not enough for me to worry.

Hervorragende Blattschraube

Seit wenigen Tagen spiele ich nun mit der o.g. Blattschraube und - ich bin begeistert:
einfachste Handhabung durch das Ein-Schrauben-System und das (subjektiv empfundene?) geringe Gewicht lassen schon beim Vorbereiten des Mundstücks große Freude aufkommen.
Stecken Mundstück (Selmer S 80 C) mitsamt Blatt (Rico Royal 2,5) und Blattschraube erst einmal auf dem S-Bogen, dann bietet dieser Anblick einen optischen Leckerbissen (natürlich ist das auch extrem subjektiv, aber die Linienführung der Ligatur strahlt schlichte Eleganz aus).
Wenig überraschend, dass diese Selmer Blattschraube mit dem Selmer Mundstück (s.o.) hervorragend harmoniert und die bereits an anderer Stelle beschriebenen Eigenschaften noch mehr zum Tragen bringt.
Fazit: Ich würde es immer wieder kaufen, nicht zuletzt wegen des "vernünftigen" Preises.
