Ich habe mir das Mundstück zur Verwendung auf einem Sopran-Kornett und auf der Piccolo Trompete gekauft. Die Spieleigenschaften lassen sich am ehesten mit denen eines Schilke 11ax vergleichen. Die Form des Randes unterscheidet sich jedoch deutlich. Für mich fühlt sich das P7 etwas angenehmer an, als das 11ax.
Das Mundstück sorgt für eine gute Intonation und lässt sich besonders ressourcenschonend bis in die hohen Lagen spielen. Es erzeugt einen hellen und brillanten Klang. Für die ist Piccolo-Trompete perfekt. Für ein Sopran-Kornett ist der Klang aber ein wenig zu hell, sodass ich das Mundstück in der Britischen Brass Band nur für sehr anstrengende Passagen empfehle.
