Excellent Quality
I bought this for my acoustic guitar as the strap is heavy and would sometimes slip off.
Looks great. Fitting is super easy. Quality is really good and no rattle. I have not used the cheaper copies of this type of lock so can not compare.
While a little bit expensive I feel it is worth it. I will not need to replace for a long time. Highly recommended.

Lock & Rock !!
The new Schaller Strap Locks are super great. They look cool, are made of high-end material, easy to install, easy to use and secure your guitar in any situation. Are you into acrobatic moves on stage? Then this is your go to. After purchasing this particular model I was so happy with the result that now I am proud to say that I started an endorsed with Schaller. Can't really see any contra here. gain if I didn't like the product I wouldn't have ordered it. These are in concept similar to Sperzel in case you already had one of these...

Solid gold
Gold finish is durable and doesn't look to have scratched or tarnished after a couple of years of gigging now.
Screws are solid and haven't stripped out the whole or anything.
The design has changed since my first set I got around 2010, which did eventually bent and had stripped out some of the wood around the screw .
So far these new versions seem better in use and easier to fit.

Simple, robust, awesome.
I recently purchased these for my Epi Les Paul Custom to replace the stock strap buttons.
The design of these strap locks has been updated since I last purchased a set, and have been updated for the better.
With the implementation of a 'locking' screw within the 'nut' part of the unit. Great idea for making sure that the straplocks stay locked and your axe around your neck. Also, the locking pin now has a slight bevel meaning that hooking up the strap is as easy as just lining the socket up and clicking it into place, I found that the weight of the guitar was enough to force everything into place making it nice and easy!
All in all, super strap locks just got a little be more super. Great product.
Oh, and the gold finish is very nice too!

I've been using Schaller S-Locks M GO on my guitars and basses for years now and they are rock solid and super easy to install. The durability is top-notch, and the gold finish adds a nice touch of class that I personally lack as a person. Great even with heavy stage use. Highly recommend if you want peace of mind!

The classic
Super easy install (although you may want to widen your screw holes from standard slightly to be sure you won't crack lacquer). They are quality made and function really well as you'd expect. I've had them on a few weeks now and not noticed and nasty rattling or squeaks and the look very 'authentic' when you don't have the strap attached...so don't worry you'll ruin the look of the guitar,

Backup Hardware
I haven't put these to use yet. They were bought as backups. I have Schaller Strap Locks on all my electrics. Haven't dropped one since I committed myself to their use decades and decades ago. The feeling of that Les Paul falling from my shoulder is a nightmare that has never ended.

Superb straplocks
For an expensive guitar that I inherited, I wouldn't want to go for a design without the horseshoe/U-shaped part.
If the locking mechanism would ever fail, gravity will still keep it cupped and impossible to drop.
Build quality is great, it comes in a compact and well made packaging.
