Great for Hard hitters

This Hoop is rad, very good for hard hitters,

I find I don't go through as many sticks with this hoop on a snare drum.

Solid, would recommend to anyone. It produces a great tonal resonance as well.

I'm just shocked how much my drum sound has improved, the attac, resonance, easy to tune and how inspiring just a fact like that does my drumming more enjoyable and a sound I didn't have on my kit before.

S-hoops have a bent over (towards the centre) flattened profile rather than a curved outwards profile . This helps focus the sound and is potentially less damaging to drum sticks. They are well made and strong.

Hat auch schwächen

Ich hab mir die S-hoops sowohl für oben, als auch unten gekauft. Im Vergleich zu normalen Spannreifen haben diese hier mehr Wumms und verstimmen sich bei ständigen Rimshots nicht sofort. Allerdings sind sie definitiv nicht so stimmstabil, wie die TAMA-Gußreifen. Nach einer Stunde spielen musste ich die Schraube, die zwischen meinen Beinen sitzt nachziehen.

Fazit:
Wer ne gute Alternative zu herkömmlichen Spannreifen sucht, wird hier nicht enttäuscht. Für Hardhitter und Leute die keine Lust haben ihre Trommel neu zu stimmen eher weniger empfehlenswert.
