I use RTM SM911 1/2" as a final analogue recording medium on Tascam 38-8 Reel to Reel decks. Recording & mixing from a variety of analogue sources I find the SM911 an excellent tape to work with especially with purely analogue, for example laying down tracks from master vinyl recordings. The quality of this magnetic tape can always be trusted from Reel to Reel (no pun intended).
I would have no hesitation in recommending this tape for studio or home use, an excellent recording medium.

Ich bin richtig froh dass ich dieses Band als Rohwickel kaufen kann, denn das alte Tonband dessen Spule ich jetzt für das RTM SM911 benutze war so verklebt, dass es innerhalb von 3 Minuten alle bandberührende Teile satt mit Eisenoxid beschichtete. Nun - deshalb kann ich jetzt sagen, dass ich mit der Aufnahmequalität mehr als sehr zufrieden bin, aber über die Langzeitstabilität wir in 20 Jahren nochmal reden müssen.
