Steve Albini's European tape of choice, my band Spare Snare, recorded with him, February 2018, and the quality of this tape shone through. We recorded on the 2" at 15ips, and the half inch at 30ips, that's the way he works, and it sounds brilliant.

Ja das Band ist natürlich gut. Und es gibt keine Alternativen, wenn man ein 2 Zoll Band braucht. Der Bandabrieb auf die Tonköpfe meiner Studer A 80 ist äußert gering, die Soundqualität wie immer herausragend. Die Vorgängerbänder waren teuer, jetzt kostet es halt wieder etwas mehr. Dafür gibt es ein Form-Plastikcase zur Aufbewahrung wie vor 15 Jahren dazu, wobei mir persönlich die Kartons zum Stapeln lieber sind. Aufnahmelänge etwa 16 Minuten bei 30 ips, oder 33 Minuten bei 15 ips Geschwindigkeit. Es ist kein Vorlaufband dabei.
