These strings give a special twist to your sound!
Perwanie 06.12.2017
I recently bought 2 the same basses (Ibanez SR600 japan ) which one of them only had 2 strings. Firstly i filtered Thomann to ' price from low to high '
Next i saw: Rotosound! My favorite size strings were one of the cheapest. I directly ordered them and i was really surprised about the sound: the old strings of one bas sound deep and a bit jazzy/bluesy ( also good for metal )
But these Rotosounds really are what they are saying that they are: BRIGHT!!
They gave my bass a rather telecaster bass sound and also is really really REALLY good for slapping, great for funk or for, as it says, a bright sound

Pros:
Last long
Cheapest with quality
Bright as they say
Long enough for 24 frets bass

Cons:
The bright sound might make your bass sound a bit too bright in some situations.

Would recommend!!

Great option!

The most affordable option I’ve found for bass strings still from a reputable brand, and honestly prefer them to the Ernie Ball’s I used to use.

Well balanced tone, nice feel, and maintain that new string brightness for longer than expected. Absolutely would recommend.

These showed up on my radar after reading it’s what Colin Greenwood used, and though that shouldn’t matter that much, it’s still kinda fun to think he doesn’t necessarily go for the fanciest alternative possible, so maybe sometimes we don’t need to either, huh?

Learning Funk

Good attack for funk. Bright. And at the same time this strings are good for another styles, for me - playing Bach and shuffle. For slap may be thick, little a bit, but sound is good
Nowatime no cons. Very good strings in this class price/options

I recomand them for P-Basses. They are thick and crisp. For jazz basses, maybe a little bit to glassy. But that's just me.

Great Srings

These are my go-to strings, the only downside I have to give is that it does have the tip in whole, and that is purely aesthetic.
Great sound very durable, I use it on my fender p bass.

Original and best

I think someone once told me Rotosound pretty much invented the modern way of making wound bass strings. I have no idea if thats true, but was i am sure of is that these strings feel great and the spectrum of sound they produce is massive. Roto's all the way for bass

Great Allrounder Strings

I use these strings on my Squier P-Bass, and I'm very happy with them. They deliver a bright punchy sound, without tying you to any particular music style or genre.

Cheap strings with great sound
Anonymous 26.02.2016
I was really happy with this set of strings: for 16 euros you get a bright sounding booming set, good for almost all genres. They are not less than any other roundwound strings you would normally use. Maybe they wear a little more quickly, but for that price it is really fine. Unless you are looking for something particular with a characteristic sound, these strings will just do the job.
