Great time saver
This fingerboard saver does its job. The rubber bands are useless, you can use it without them. I've used them on several guitars and basses (Fender PBass) and even on smaller instruments (mandolins, banjos etc). If you want to do a really clean job I would still use some drafting tape on top of the fretboard to protect it from light scratches since this things are made of metal. If you wiggle it too much while using it, it can leave some light marks on the wood.
I've used these a thousand times and still will. I always useit on every string set change. It really speeds up the fret polishing moment.

Perfect for the job
It does very well what is supposed to do, which is to protect the fretboard, so yes it's the perfect tool for that! Also it's not too hard and thick, so it bends easy and it follows the radius of the fretboard and let you work nice with the fret. The only con that I found is that the rubber that comes with it, is pretty useless because it bends it way too much and makes it impossible to use, but it's not a big deal since you can use it without it. And of course there's two of them! I highly recommend it!

Work as described
I'm not sure what to say about these other than they do exactly what they're supposed to do. They're well made and protect the fret board when I need to polish my feats. I appreciated the two different sizes as one set fits all my guitars.

Essential for every guitarist
These arrived about 10 days ago but I only got around to using them this weekend during some routine maintenance on my tele.
2 per pack along with rubber bands to hold them in place while polishing etc. Flexible enough to follow the fretboard radius without problems and fitted medium jumbo frets.
There's not a lot more to say really. They do the job they're designed for perfectly and given the very reasonable price tag they should be essential addition to every guitarists toolbox. I imagine I'll be using these at every string change just to give the frets a quick polish if nothing else. Do your fretboard a favour for a very modest investment !

Does the job very well
Does what it's supposed to, protects the fretboard when you need to polish frets. I can only afford lower budget guitars and about 90% of them need a good fret polish when they arrive- this is so much easier and more useful than masking off the space between frets with masking tape

Useful tool addition
I just use the pair to help polishing 6105 stainless steel frets with a Dremel and buffing wheel. Works well for me and is quicker and less “messy” than using tape. The kind of tool aid you forget about till you need it. I can’t fault these for the price.

It protects your fingerboard
Great product, inexpensive and does what it's supposed to do. I don't use the rubber bands tho, the guard will bulge. Great buy!
