The threading immediately broke at first use in an attempt to attach a small Aputure LED light. Definitely not overtightened. Buy cheap buy twice holds its truth yet again. So far I have had no good experiences with Roadworx and this was my last attempt for sure :-)

Not even gonna bother the lovely Thomann team with a refund or anything as I'd say it's my fault for knowingly buying low quality.

I was a bit worried to order this after reading some negative reviews here, but the low price encouraged me to take the risk.

I’m relieved to say I ended up pleasantly surprised. The threads are smooth and easy on mine, and functionality is excellent. I have no concerns about it at all.

Yes, longevity expectations would be even better were it made of brass. But the weight and black powder coating seem robust, and the color makes it discreet, which is good. Go for it.
