RME Uni-Rack II

My biggest concern was to adapt RME ADI-2 into the 19" rack. Having the PRO FS and DAC FS models I was concerned if it would accomodate these two. I am only having the PRO FS by my side and this racking unit [UNIRACK2] fits it PERFECTLY! Whether it fits the DAC FS so that it sits symmetrically with the PRO FS - I cant yet tell and would need to experiment with once Im back in my studio. All and all - the predrilled screwholes are perfectly aligned without tilt/skew and the depth makes it sit flush. // P.S: Out of all the provided screws, one screw thread was not perfect and that made my PRO FS bottom paint chip off a little.. ouch -- i recommend trying each screw without the UNIRACK first, just make sure to NOT run it deep to avoid RME unit damage, and when you see it fits, simply use those tested screws while attaching the RME unit. I still give it a 5star rating! The amount of provided screws was 9 in total. // P.S2: The unit is a tiny bit outside of the 1U height which COULD become a bit of a problem when sitting between the other units in a rack, but im hoping it would be alright if i let the other units sit tighter together, or would place the ADI-2s rackedup above everything, which in my case [DANGERFOX GENESIS24U mastering desk] could have a tiny bit more room in the positioning.
