The only snare head I’ll use
This is the only is the only head I will use on any of my snares. I change it roughly every couple of months I’m always go for the same head. The sound is punchy and controlled which is what i like.

Remo 14" Powerstroke 3 coated Snare
With this one, remo has made a long lasting versatile snare batter head. It suits pretty much for every genre. Also a good pick for someone, who does not change their drumheads often cause it maintains the tone for a quite long time. It also has a good price and quality ratio.

Perfect texture.
I am often playing with steel brushes and the texture on this drum head gives the perfect sound for me. I have been using the same head for 3 years now but it has only started to smooth over recently. I think it's good for at least 12 months of regular play. Even playing with sticks the head is tight and sharp.

Lovely skins
You can't beat a good remo skin and these powerstrokes are tasty. Lovely and crisp sounding, they sound even better after a couple of gigs. Good price fomr Thomann so we add a couple to our spares ordeers to save on shipping

Good control
It took me a while to find a snare batter head that I really liked. The Remo Emperor coated X dot is also really great, but I feel this head is a bit easier to control. I have a pretty ringy steel snare and this head does wonders getting a nice tone out of it.

The best a man can get!
The best head you can buy in my opinion. I have been playing drums for 30+ years and have used these heads for the majority of that time, they just sound right to me!

Very Versatile Head
Great drum head, crank it or have it looser, gives a full, fat sound to your snare!

My standard Snare Skin
It's a great skin that can last for a while. I tend to switch skins a lot to experiment with the sounds but I come back to this one every time.
After around 3/5 months I tend to get a new Snare Skin and give the old one to another Drummer friend and he's still practising with it after 6 months
