The sponges are too large for most pipes, so you'll probably need to use a lot of soap and water (you should probably add even more soap than they recommend for tighter fits) for most cases and hope it comes out intact. Unfortunately, this size also means relatively quick sponge deterioration, which means that you'll need to rinse out everything at least twice, unless you like having little red clumps of sponge in your keys. I'm not sure about the purpose of the straight sponge, other than pushing the end of the other one into pipes. At some point I got worried the sponge would break off from its cable and stay in one of the smaller pipes, but luckily it didn't.

The mouthpiece cleaner is great.

Works well until the sponges deteriorate, which happens relatively easily... Lasted me about 4-5 cleanings at 4-month intervals. Mouthpiece scrub still works.

Ich bestellte mir das Set mal aus Interesse und ggf. zur Weitergabe an Schüler.
Beim eigenen Test stellte es sich leider als nicht verwendbar heraus.
1. - die Mundstückbürste: Stabil und gut verarbeitet - für die meisten Hornmundstücke allerdings zu groß!
2. - die lange "Schnur" mit Schwamm: der Schwamm ist sehr dick, ich habe mich bei weiten Stimmbögen getraut, diesen durchzuziehen - durchs Mundrohr passt er nicht - und genau dort muss man reinigen ;-) - durch die Ventilstimmzüge kriegt man die Schnur keinesfalls um die Kurven, und durch ein Drehventil möchte man normalerweise eh nichts ziehen.
3. - der "Schwamm am Stiel" - Mir erschließt sich der Zweck nicht: damit schiebe ich doch Schmutz nur tief in die Züge oder gar zu den Ventilen vor???

Es bleibt bei der bewährten "Bürste" an ummantelter Spirale!

The set is very well build, the cleaning spunges are very strong and do not deteriorate or loosen when used. Keep in mind however to use the set togehter with ample water and soap (as is mentioned on the back of the box) to avoid getting stuck.

By the way, the order processing and delivery was once again very professional and fast. Way to go, Thomann!
