BTB players beware!

Pretty disappointed in these ones. As another user pointed out, the B string is too short to clear the nut on Ibanez BTB multiscales (mine: BTB805ms, 37" B so the strings should fit). The string tapers off mid nut which results in horrible buzzing.

The sound I could hear without buzzing was pretty solid, but if you have a BTB805MS, 605ms, etc yeah avoid these strings.

I do no get why the manufacturer made the strings so short and then advertised them for 37". I mean, it can't be that expensive to add another extra inch to make sure it actually fits as the product is advertised.

Edit: due to Thomann’s excellent customer service, I am getting another set of strings from Dingwall for free. Props to Thomann as always

Super Qualität, langlebiger Sound

Diese Saiten benutze ich auf meinem 6 Saiter Claas Bass mit 36"-34" Mensur.
Als Ergänzung zu diesem Set wird für die hohe C saite noch eine 0.20er von Pyramid von mir benutzt.
Ich habe den Bass mit diesen Saiten für die Aufnahmen meiner Band benutzt und spiele damit auch live. Die Saiten halten ewig und haben einen super kernigen Sound.
Vor allem für härtere Stilrichtungen super geeignet.
Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Ich spiele A-D-G-C-F auf meinem Dingwall ABII (multiscale 37"-34"). Die Sattelkerben mussten (natürlich) nachgefeilt werden, und bei der 165er eigentlich G-, bei mir A-Saite war ich etwas skeptisch. Aber das klingt alles super, keine schrägen Obertöne, auch die Saitenspannungs-Verhältnisse passen. Für mich ein gelungenes Experiment...
