My favourite sticks

These oak 5Bs are my default setting. If I'm playing drums, 95% of the time these sticks are in my hand.

Compared to standard hickory 5Bs they are a little heavier, but what I really like is how much harder and stiffer they are than hickory or maple. I find oak much more durable in the rimshot area (I'm a big guy playing rock and hitting hard) and the cross stick sound is better to my ear too. The best way I can describe the difference is that if hickory is springy and soft, oak is rigid and hard. I like that.

Aside from the difference in material and weight, these are the same as a standard 5B. Fills up the hand nicely and doesn't feel easy to break.

If you like a stick with a lot of rebound, these probably aren't for you. But if you play hard, or you want to try something different, I can highly recommend them.

Une de mes paires de baguettes préférées !

Un jour j'en avait marre de cassé mes baguettes trop facilement et par curiosité j'ai testé ces Pro Mark en Oak et honnêtement je n'en suis pas déçu ! Je les utilises avec mon Groupe de Metalcore.
Les avantages sont que ces baguettes sont bien solide et je les trouves bien équilibrées. Elle dure dans le temps et n'éclate pas après 10 Rimshot !
Le seul inconvénient c'est qu'il est nécessaire de s'y habituer un peu car elles peuvent paraître un peu lourde la première fois pour certain batteur...
Je referais ce choix sans hésiter et je les recommande au cogneur !

Die Eichensticks sind sehr sehr haltbar und damit auch ein verlässlicher Begleiter. Vom Gewicht her für mich persönlich auch sehr angenehm und nicht zu schwer verglichen mit 5B Stöcken aus Hickory. Kann ich sehr empfehlen :)

Seitdem ich diese Sticks ausprobiert habe komme ich einfach nicht mehr weg davon. Wahnsinnig langlebig liegen gut in der Hand. Perfekt für Rock/Metal Bereich!
