Ich war ganz überrascht von diesen Schlägeln.

Die Stile sind sehr lang, kann man allerdings einfach kürzen.
Der Klang ist super, gerade im mezzoforte+ bereich.
Leider ist mir nach einigen Monaten eine kleine Ecke des Holzkopfes abgesprungen...

Ich suchte nach einem Xylo-Mallet mit ovalem Holzkopf und bin bei Playwood fündig geworden. Die Mallets sind so weit völlig in Ordnung, die Stiele sind gerade und sauber verarbeitet. Allerdings sind die Mallets extrem kopflastig im Verhältnis zu kurzen Xylomallets mit Holzstiel und dadurch, auch wenn man sie weiter vorne greift, deutlich weniger "wendig" als diese. DUrch den relativ großen Kopf und die Kopflastigkeit sind Pianissimostellen sehr anspruchsvoll.

Was mir absolut nicht gefällt ist die schon fast laienhafte Verklebung der Köpfe auf dem Stiel. Es sieht aus, als hätte man einfach einen großen Tropfen Heißkleber verwendet, die Verklebung ist von oben sichtbar und sieht doch sehr unansehnlich aus. Stört beim Spielen aber natürlich nicht.
