j
tuner with legacy
jordan1994 19.07.2022
I was looking for a new tuner for gigging that was fast especially with low B string and after i tried some of the classic tuners from my friends i ordered Peterson tuner. Peterson tuner is really fast and really accurate, tuning sweeteners are great for guitars but it doesn't make a lot of difference on the bass guitar. At first i was little bit confused with strobe tuning but now i love it and prefer it to standard tuner, but every now and then i still have some problems with low B string but that is not very often.
I think it's a great tuner with a great screen that is easy to see on dark and bright stage.

G
First rate tuner, let down by a few small niggles
GD77 07.06.2020
Overall a very high quality and well-made tuner with good features. Slightly let down by inconsistencies in build quality, awkward settings menus, and clunky editing software.

For me the best features are the sweetened tunings, large display, and the (optional) always-on tuning and buffer modes. The ability to plug in and edit basically everything from the computer is valuable if you want to take full advantage of the customisation options, though the web browser-based editing software is rough around the edges.

The pedal itself feels substantial, durable, and for the most part very well made. It's a shame they cut corners with the flimsy plastic menu buttons on the side, and the plastic battery compartment.

V
Overpriced, gimmicky
VoyTech 03.11.2023
It should be called StroBogus. The rotating wheel is a bit distracting. I never know which way to tune. Sub cent tuning accuracy is rare in real world. Expensive. Clearly, I did not like it. But you might.
