Für meine Bewertung muss ich ein wenig ausholen und sie ist natürlich auch nur meine subjektive Sichtweise.
Ich habe alle meine Toms mit freischwingenden Pearl Optimount Holdern ausgerüstet, die mir von der Praktikabilität und auch optisch am besten gefallen im Gegensatz zu vielen Freischwinger-Systemen, die um die halbe Trommel befestigt werden und sowohl bei einem Fellwechsel als auch für die Mikrofonierung direkt am Tom unpraktisch sein können.
Kleiner Nachteil beim Optimount-System war nur die Tatsache, dass man ausschließlich Pearl- bzw. Pearl-Stile-Tomholder verwenden konnte, bis...
... ja bis dieser kleine Pearl CPR1278 Tom Mount Adaptor auftauchte!
Einfach reinschieben in den Optimount, Schraube anziehen und man hat nun auch die Option für andere Tomhalte Systeme wie L-Halterungen (Millenium, TAMA und viele andere) oder auch Sechskanthalterungen (z.B. Sonor).
Das macht mich ganz happy!
Wen muss ich überzeugen?
Die Frage geht an alle, die ihre vorhandene Hardware flexibel weiter nutzen wollen bei einem Wechsel zu anderen Schlagzeugmarken und sie sollten prüfen, ob dieser kleine Helfer das ermöglicht.
