Ortofon Concorde MKII Elite

The Concorde MKII Elite pairs striking design with premium materials, carefully selected for both performance and durability. The cartridge body features genuine gold plating, while the nude elliptical diamond stylus is mounted on a specially developed 750µm aluminium-magnesium cantilever, a combination designed to provide precise groove tracking while remaining robust enough for club use. Inside, a newly designed coil system delivers a higher output than previous Concorde models, providing a powerful and clean signal at the mixer or phono preamplifier. To maintain stability and consistent playback under demanding conditions, Ortofon has also developed a new high-performance rubber suspension system with carefully engineered damping characteristics.

Founded in Denmark in 1918 by engineers Axel Petersen and Arnold Poulsen, Ortofon has been at the forefront of phono technology for more than a century. The company introduced its first magnetic pickup system, the M-15, in 1969, marking a major milestone in cartridge design. In 1982, Ortofon launched the now-iconic Concorde series, whose futuristic design went on to become a regular fixture in clubs and broadcast environments worldwide.
