Olli Hess Crazy Egg Gong Flumy
I am always on the lookout for new interesting Gong flumies to use at my Crystal Reiki Gong bath's. I normally let my attendees try their hand at playing my gong afterwards, and this one is certainly eye catching and looking like an egg attracts people straight away.
But for me its not about looks, its how it interacts with my gongs. It is well made and feels solid, and yes you will get different sounds by turning it around onto its varies sides and it will probably satisfy many gong players, unlike some flumies you dont need to use much pressure to get the surreal sounds that it can produce, and it will do the job of three separate sized flumies. Personally I still need to use several other flumies to get the effects I need at my sound baths. But overall I do like it and will continue to use it and have no issues to recommend it.

Great flumie
Thought I’d give this a try as it’s a favourable price and looked interesting my other flumies are Bear Loves and they’re wonderful.
This too is producing fantastic resonance and is interesting finding which sides produce the best sound, having said that it really is a great all round tool for gongs . Have fun exploring the possibilities….

Crazy Egg, crazy sounds
You have to love a gong played with a flumie. This Crazy Egg flumie creates some wonderful sounds on my 80cm Sun gong, quite deep tones like whales when played wide side on. When played narrow end on the sounds are slightly higher in tone. It’s early days yet but I love experimenting in order to see what tones I can get the gong and flume to produce. I love it

Almost works automatically.Turns a novice into a professional
This is by far the easiest friction tool i have used , and being egg shape gives it a wider range of sounds, i highly recommend this, it makes a novice sound like a professional.

The crazy egg can be used on different sides to create various tones with the gong.
