Nearly perfect gem - little amp

Rather solid construction, minimum dimensions but packed with features, delivers much more than you would expect. Ritch sound despite 6,5 inch speaker that is totally adequate for home / practice use. Had to level down almost every patch I made, to have an even sound and a smooth volume adjustment for use in an apartment. Line out is a welcome addition but delivers a rather weak signal. USB port can turn it to into a small audio interface. Electric guitar modeling has enough realism to make you forget that at the end of your cable is only a small cost-friendly modeling amp. Acoustic amp models deliver a rather crisp bright sound. If I had to make it even better I would add a 4 band EQ to the mic channel that sounds rather dull. Some more memory slots to save patches (It has 7) , A footswitch to alter patches and for the looper that is short in duration and is only controled by hand in the app.

I’m surprised that this amp can produce such great sound for its size and weight - even for bass. I’m planning to convert it to run on 18650 batteries.

And yes, the 12V jack has reverse polarity - just noting this inconvenience here in case the manufacturer sees it and decides to fix it in future versions.

Affordable digital home amp

Perfect for home use, really.
I don’t know if it will work good with any pedals, but you can set up any digital effect inside this amp. It might be loud if you want, and it can be really quiet not to disturb your neighbours.
Also cool feature that you can share you presets and you can download new ones from internet (but community is not that big)
You can use it as an audio interface as well to connect to your computer.
I can say it it’s better then THR5

Hab einen Amp für Straßen Musik gesucht und die von Boss waren mir zu teuer da ich ja für größere Gigs andere Koffer amps habe. ich hab seit 2 Jahren ein NUX MG 30 Model Effektboard gekauft mit dem ich vom Sound her sehr zufrieden bin . Pros: Der Mighty 8BT MKII hat fast alles wichtige an Sounds was man benötigt. Die Modeller klingen alle sehr differenziert, und sind sehr Anschlagtechnisch sensibel. Man kann mit einem Crunch sound von fast clean bis schön OD spielen und das wird dann auch deutlich lauter, was ja nicht immer bei digitalen Sounds normal ist. Über die Features will ich mich nicht auslassen, sind reichlich und easy mit der Hersteller App am Smart phone oder am PC erreichbar und abspeicherbar. Gut ist die Möglichkeit ein Mikrophon anzuschließen und mit ein wenig Hall zu versehen. Aber das Beste ist der Line out mit dem man bei kleinen Kneipen gigs den Amp als Monitor und mit sehr gutem Sound (auch die Zerrsounds) über die PA oder Gesangsanlage ans Publikum schickt. Für den Preis der absolute Hammer. Contras : Bisher keine Möglichkeit einen Fußschalter zum wechseln der Programme/Effekte anzuschließen. Das Batteriefach (8XAA) Schaut nicht sehr robust aus und schwer zu erreichen, da hatte ein 12 Volt Li Accu besser dienste geleistet, auch wenn es 20 Euro Teurer wäre. deswegen nicht die volle Punktzahl. Trotzdem klare Kaufempfehlung auch zum üben zuhause und immer geiler angenehmer Sound und mit Batterien überall.
