nice mic, but a home studio mic?
This mic is advertised by Neumann as microphone for home and project studios. However, it’s extremely sensitive to its surroundings, picking up even the slightest noise. The lack of pads to help cut rumble noise only adds to the issue. While it produces a nice, smooth sound, these sensitivity problems make it less suitable for a typical home studio environment. Overall, despite its smooth sound quality, I believe there are better options for home use at a more affordable price.

workhorse condenser
i recorded whole album on it. used on vocals, male and female, drums, electric guitar ( really nice ) , acoustic guitar.
i tested few other mics in this price range and for me, this is the best choice.
you buying also a brand witch gives better resale value if needed.
it is very well build, shock mount is amazing.
Sound is balanced, great in the lower end of spectrum.
