I was lucky enough to test these alongside the ATC SCM25A Mk2 (similar price range) in my studio.
Both are fantastic speakers, but the Neumanns came out on top. The center image was clearer, and I could hear the placement and tone color of instruments much more precisely. Everything felt more defined and separated in the mix.
Honestly, I don’t think you can get anything better at this price point. For the first time, I find myself wanting to go to the studio just to sit and listen to music.
I understand why ATCs are so highly praised — they sound beautiful and musical. But if you're after maximum precision, the Neumanns are simply better.
And by the way, they don’t sound “cold” at all!

Der ideale Lautsprecher auch für HiFi-Enthusiasten

Ich verwende diese Lautsprecher seit einigen Monaten in meiner HiFi-Anlage und bin absolut zufrieden.

Insbesondere hat mich diese Selbstverständlichkeit beeindruckt, mit der diese Lautsprecher musikalische Details wiedergeben, ohne dabei anstrengend zu klingen. Auch nach mehreren Stunden des Musikhörens bin ich dabei nicht ermüdet.

Die Neumann KH 420 Lautsprecher sind dazu in der Lage, verschiedenste Musikrichtungen außergewöhnlich gut, sehr authentisch und natürlich wiederzugeben, ohne etwas hinzuzufügen oder wegzulassen. Diese hohe Wiedergabetreue und Neutralität würde ich dennoch nicht als analytisch kalt bezeichnen, sondern vielmehr als ehrlich und ohne Eigenklang.

Ich habe bereits einige Lautsprecher gehabt und gehört. Aber kein Lautsprecher hat mich bisher so nachhaltig beeindruckt, wie es die KH 420 vermögen.

Wer sehr viel Wert auf eine unverfälschte und verfärbungsfreie Wiedergabe seiner bevorzugten Musik legt, sollte sich mal die KH 420 anhören.
