Best Sample Player Ever
I’ve been using Kontakt for years, and version 8 proves once again why it’s the ultimate industry standard. The new Leap module speeds up my workflow significantly when dealing with loops. Also, the new creative tools (Chords & Phrases) are fantastic for sparking instant inspiration.
PROS:
- Leap Module: Incredible for fast, live loop manipulations.
- Creative Tools: Chords and Phrases modules are absolute game-changers for fixing writer's block.
- The Industry Standard: Still has the most unrivaled instrument ecosystem on the market.
CONS:
- Heavy features like Conflux can spike CPU/RAM if you play dense 7th chords consecutively depending on your buffer size. However, it's not a dealbreaker at all considering how rich the layers sound.
Highly recommended for any professional music producer!
