This EQ is amazing value for money but the range of each band is not consistent throughout the travel of slider and the middle region has somewhat of a very little effect on the sound which means it will take you some time to get to the sound you want because it needs really fine tuning to reach to it.

It's perfectly good for the money +/-18dB is a very big range to cover and it definitely aids in shaping your sound. Best used subtly and when you're tweaking a sound you already like, rather than fiddling for the sake of it.
