interessante Alternative für wenig Geld

Ich hab mir den Millenium bronze snare Teppich aus purer Neugier bestellt. Die erste snare, die ich damit bestückt habe, war eine Ludwig Black Beauty. Der Sound hat mir aber nicht gefallen, das war zu crisp und zu hart, für meine recht leise Spielweise nicht geeignet. Für fette Backbeats mag der Teppich aber auf einer Metalsnare durchaus gut funktionieren.
Richtig zufrieden war ich aber, als ich den Teppich auf eine ganz billige PEARL Holzsnare aus der Forum Serie montiert habe. Der Sound besserte sich spürbar, die Ansprache war danach wesentlich feiner und sensibler. Ursprünglich nur als Proberaumsnare gedacht, nehm' ich die jetzt manchmal mit zum Gig.

Kurze Haltbarkeit

Ich habe den Snareteppich 3 Monate gespielt, ehe er sich auflöste....
Die Saiten lösten sich komplett und Teppich bröselte aufeinander.
Sound war ok.
Die Verarbeitung hingegen gar nicht.

J'ai acheté ce timbre de caisse claire un peu en urgence, et je dois dire qu'il ne présente aucun défaut et remplit sa mission à 100% : excellent rapport qualité/prix ! Certes cela ne vaut pas un Puresound (bien plus cher) ou autre, mais le job est fait, rien à dire. Les attaches en plastique sont très solides, les vibrations ne sont pas exagérées, le rendu sonore est niquel, je recommande.

Dry snare wires

Perfectly good quality snare wires that sound a tiny bit drier and a bit darker than the usual stainless steel wires.
They don't make much of a difference and they sound quite similar, though a bit drier, than brass wires, but if you're looking for that last 5% change in that direction it's a good investment.
