Does what it should. Truly stable
Valance 07.06.2017
This is a very stable guitar stand and I have been using it for my huge, heavy semi-acoustic guitar for some time now.

It is guaranteed that under normal conditions (i.e. if you are not into the habit of throwing your kicks and punches around) your guitar is really safe and won't fall down even with some moderate shakes.

The quality of the product is very acceptable for this price and there is nothing to complain. The only drawback is that I have noticed that the resting place of the guitar on the stand has retraced -- that is to say, the rubber part where your guitar stands on will impress after some time. This can probably be due to fact that only the edges of my semi-acoustic's body sit on the rubber part of the stand and not the entire body and the pressure in that case is higher and hence the depression of the rubber. This is not at all a huge problem, but it might be of some importance to some buyers.

All in all, this is a very good product and it perfectly does what it should and it is worth every penny. It also looks great once you take off the stickers on the sides.

Ein No-Brainer für 8€
Lukas Goebel 05.06.2022

JA
It does it's job
João Artur 10.03.2023
I've bought this stand mainly to hold my electric guitar in my bedroom, about 5 months ago.
It provides adequate stability, even without a neck support, and it´s trustworthy enough for me to just place my guitar in the stand and not worry about it, tough if I had the stand in a place with more movement I might worry about my guitar falling off if someone bumped into it.

The only real quality problem that the cushioned support that holds the bottom of the guitar is weak and deteriorates fast. I guess that with accustics guitars it might hold well, as it did for mine, but it doesn't cope that well with the heavier electric guitars.

Despite that, I'm quite satisfied so far, especially for the price, and I do recomend for someone in a budget. Just be watchful for the wear in the material if you are mainly using it for electric guitars.

TC
Great little stand
The Common Sense Professor 03.01.2022
I am a US customer and I ordered two of these stands with my ST-62. They are amazing, very stable little stands. My ST-62 does slide around a little bit because of how the top part of the stand is made, but it is not bad. My students are making a guitar and I am going to use these stands to display the guitar at recruiting events. The shipping to the states was unbelievably fast.

A fine stand
Someone who likes it old-fashioned 17.11.2019
I bought this as a means of not having to lay my instrument on my bed anymore if I get interrupted while playing, and it does its job just fine. Quality-wise it feels quite solid, with the only bit of wear I've seen being a bit of scratched paint in the joint and some slightly dented foam. In terms of stability, it's just a very slight wobble, but this house does have some quite uneven floors. I can't tell you anything about it holding up on stage or not, since I have no experience with that.
To conclude: If you have an acoustic and electric, play both and need a secure way to set it down in a calm or private environment, look no further. If it has to hold up to a beating or risk of being knocked over, I would recommend to invest in something that also holds the neck.

HE
Great product for the price
H. Elia 28.08.2018
I honestly didn't expect much for this money. But I'm surprised by the quality of this product. The stand is very sturdy and the material seems build to last.

In the beginning the stand wasn't very stable because the two legs weren't bent to a perfect angle. Therefore it was a bit wobbly. With a bit of physical strength I could fix that and it's the perfect stand for me now.

Good universal string instrument stand
JKJK 22.03.2024
I play acoustic guitar, octave mandolin and mandolin, and I also play with an electric blues band with electric guitars, so we needed a good universal stand to hold all of these instruments.

It works well for all of them, except the f-shape mandolin, the little ornament horn at the bottom makes it kinda iffy to hold, but it is not advertised to hold f-shaped mandolins, so again a good product for a great price from Thomann.

Works just fine, but when you accidentally stand on it, the arms will bend or it will break.

Great stand for live use
Anonymous 30.04.2015
a basic stand that can be used with electric, acoustic and bass guitar.
I use this with a les paul, jazz bass and dreadnought style acoustic guitar, all of which it works well. The bass guitar seems slightly less suited for this stand and has to be positioned precisely to avoid any chance of it slipping.

Suprisingly stable, I was initially wary that my guitar would randomly fall over, but over time i've learnt to trust this stand and would recommend them to anyone looking for a cheap solution for using multiple instruments in live/studio situtations.
I wouldn't really recommend these for long term storage as a knock would send the instrument over.

Quality: for the price the quality is good, though the rubber part is showing signs of coming loose already, though this was expected at this price point (I also store this in my car which may explain the premature wear.)
