Millenium 14" Practice Pad

If you like a classic, Gladstone style, pad, then this is a perfectly decent one at about half the price that I could find anywhere else on the web.
I've used one of these pads for years and, in fact, only had to buy a new one because I lost it, but these things last forever! They're also a lot cleaner sounding than a lot of the other pads out there, which means that you can hear what you're playing very clearly. I keep mine on my snare drum for on kit use and bring it into the dressing room for pre-gig warm ups.

Great for quickly damping and practicing on a real snare—it only takes a second. Don’t expect your snare wires to be fully muted, as some vibration is still transmitted. It’s also quite hard, but for the price, I couldn’t be happier. If you’re in a studio and want to reduce sympathetic vibrations from, say, a bass cabinet while recording it, this should work for that too. Haven’t tried it without a snare, but it should work on a desk as well.

I bought 2 of these pads a year ago, one to go on top of my snare and the other one to go in between my hi-hats to reduce practicing noise.
Great quality material, you could have it half way on top of the snare to reduce the volume but still get a good sound.
Overall great pads and excellent price.

My original one of these is now over forty years old-I think they called it the Limpet!
They are great for practice sessions and for warming up before a gig.
