PS
Does the job
Mine arrived with a broken plastic knob and the rubber feet lasted one show, but its actually fine without them and very stable so for the money so it is fine.

For par led lights
They can not handle well small moving heads, but for par led lights are perfect

A bit flimsy, but usable.
Locks aren't the sturdiest and so isn't the material thickness either, but well usable for a few led pars or so. You'll just want to make sure that they are out of the harms way since they are so light, that they fall over pretty easily.

Not strong enough for pub gigs
I'd buy the stronger ones that cost a little extra. But overall good stands. If using in a pub where people can bump against them then go in for stronger models.

LST-250 Lighting Stand
This stand is very cheaply priced and as such, there are some compromises to be expected.
The retaining screws are not of the highest quality and you do need to be careful not to strip the threads (which has happened to mine...). Having said that, I really can't complain, as the stand cost very little.
I use in a band situation every weekend and as such, it comes under particularly heavy usage (unpacked/packed etc.) - I'd expect it to last much longer if you were to set it up and leave it in one position.
I still recommend this, given its price. Be aware that it's not the most robust kit on the planet ad it will last you until you decide to replace it with something better.

The (permanent) head falls off quite easily
I really like these stands but I've found with 2/6 that the heads fall off, making it impossible to lock the T-bar. This means the t-bar tends to spin..

Good for the price
You get what you pay for, but you are getting a lot for your money in this case. This type of gear will give plenty of use if it?s well cared for. The tripod base extends to about 1.3m and the unit is made from 3 telescopic sections, and the t bar attaches via a spigot, so you can?t use this stand without the t bar, you can?t use it for a speaker stand.
It?s fine for a few led pars but I wouldn?t hang anything too heavy from this stand. Still very good value.
Enjoy.

Very useable
These stands are very sturdy, even when extended to their full height, although the weight of fixtures does need to be evenly balanced. The bolts supplied can be a bit long for some smaller fixtures (I use one of mine for PAR 16s) but this is easily rectified by a trip to the hardware store or the application of a hacksaw!

For the price this is a great light stand, it is sturdy, lightweight and easy to use. I have mainly been using it to hang LED pars and it does this with no issue but I have no experience of using heavier lights.
I had an issue of a breakage with one unit of these products, the top of the stand where the T-bar fits to the stand jammed causing the T-bar to become stuck. Upon trying to remove this the T-Bar connection sheered off. I would recommend anybody who purchases this product to lubricate the top of their stand/T-Bar mount to prevent this from happening/
However, as always, Thomann with no hassle what so ever apologized for the fault and are sending me a replacement unit. I would recommend this unit as a low cost solution if people were to make note of my previous suggestion.
