Usefull bit of kit
This ipad holder comes with two fitting, one for attaching to a pole or stand, the other allows it to screw onto the top of a standard Mic stand. I use it on top of a stand, with a Uke hanger below, which allows me to keep all my kit very neatly together when out playing.
The ipad is held firmly, by undoing a screw on the back of the holder and sliding the ipad in, before closing it up and re-tightening. I have fitted an Ipad 1 and a 3 in it with no problem. The ipad rotates easily to landscape and portrait.
The only slight issue is that the corner holder is close to the headphone socket, so you need to use a fairly thin jack plug if you want to get audio out.
The plastic seems strong and has withstood a lot of moving about. I do not bother to take it of the stand when I move it, and I have had no problems yet.

Good but...
The iPad holder is good but it lacks the hole for the camera. I had to make a new hole in the holder.

Good value
Probably not the most stunning iPad support out there, but for the money - brilliant, it works well and does the job intended! I bought a second one just to have as a safety net, but I havent needed it!! First impressions were that it was a bit flimsy and might not last on the road ....but it has! It's easy to rig, grips nicely on mic boom, and simple to slide in the ipad and then secure with one twist , and it sits there all night quite happily!

Millenium iPad Stand
For the money this is excellent. Of course you could spend more and get something sturdier, but this does the job perfectly well. I like having the option of screwing to the top of a mic stand or using the clip. I bought four and had some students perform a Garageband jam session live to the whole school - it was a great success.
