It's alright, just, fine.
The product is dense, heavy, which is good. The center of mass is difficult to find, would love to read a manual with the physics of it showing. The pegs are strong enough for a t.bone SC 440 USB with its included shock mount, which are heavy. The length does not change, only the angles of the stem. Take that mobility (handling) factor into consideration.
If you read compact, it's a cute way of saying "cheap, small, jammed inside", just like saying a tiny house is "cozy" or "cute".

Ok for a standard mic.
Used this for a small home recording project where pace was limited.
is using with a standard mic it is fine and stable but if you start using a large condenser mic on it the base is too small and you may find you recording features a mighty thud as the mic topples over mid song.

It's alright
It works well with some microphones but not others. It's a nice design but in hindsight I would recommend buying something else if you want to place a more heavier mic on your table.
