They do the job
Probably like you are, I was looking for my first pair of mallets. I've played mallets in studio, but never bought a pair. So I decided to buy a cheap pair, in order to just get that cymbal roll sound option at home. And, you know, they do the job. I mean they may not be the best mallet out there, of course. But they're ok. They feel quite comfortable, nothing too special though. The tip is nothing like high end mallets probably but it's ok for 99% of the things you would do in a pop/rock environment. They price is very inviting and after all I can say you wouldn't be disappointed.

Good entry-level cymbal sticks
I bought these to use with a hybrid acoustic/electronic drum kit in order to better balance the volume between the acoustic and electronic elements of the kit for small stripped back gigs, and they work very well with the Nord Drum 2 pads (the red colour also matches, which is nice). The sound of striking the pads is also reduced.
A good choice for drummers who are not too concerned with premium build-quality and just want something that works.

Good hard mallets
Love these sticks, but require some technique to get a proper tremolo. The mallets are a bit hard, not soft enough for who wants something quieter.
