Millenium 14" Die-Cast hoop Top chrome

I bought this as a replacement for my late 70's Tama King Beat snare.
The King Beat snare had a die-cast which produced a cracking rim shot and was quite loud.
Since replacing it with this I have found very little difference, which considering the very reasonable price of this hoop is fantastic !!
It's very sturdy too and can take a good rim shot no bother !

While I've not experimented with the variety of die cast hoops you can buy, these one's are fantastic for the price.
Matching snare side hoop makes for a lovely sonic difference vs triple flange hoops.
