Für meine Tama 7x13 Soundworks Kapur, die ich als Live Backup für meine 7x13 SLP G Maple nutze, habe ich den günstigeren Millennium Hoop angeschafft.

Soundmäßig top. Die Optik ist leider nicht so gut wie bei Tama, was an der soliden aber schlechteren Verarbeitung liegt: Zum einen an der Beschichtung (Millennium Hoops sind chrombeschichtet und Tama Hoops vermutlich nickelbeschichtet) und zum anderen an den weicheren Radien.

Preis-/Leistung stimmt und die Qualität auch. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich vermutlich trotzdem für die bessere Optik wieder zu Tama greifen.

Die Millenium Guss Spannreifen (Top+Bottom) setzte ich zur Optimierung
des Sounds meiner 13" Pearl Piccolo ein. Nach dem Wechsel
auf die Guss Reifen hat die kleine Snare deutlich mehr Bauch und
die Rimshots kommen fetter. Lochabstand und Durchmesser passen genau.

Die Verchromung ist makellos, auch sonst weisen die Spannreifen
eine augenscheinlich gute Qualität auf. Scharfe Kanten sucht
man vergebens. Der Querschnitt dieser Millenium Guss Reifen
ist interessanterweise identisch mit den um ein vielfaches teureren
DW Guss Spannreifen. Werden die wohl im selben Werk gefertigt ?

Ein tolles Produkt, das man weiterempfehlen kann.
