Ich dachte dass das Admiral Fell die Thomann Version des Remo Ambassador sein soll. Da es für kleines Geld zu haben ist, habe ich es versuchsweise bestellt. War eigentlich als Resonanzfell gedacht. Ich hab es dann doch als Schlagfell aufgezogen. Verarbeitung, Passform und Stimmbarkeit, volle Punktzahl. Der Klang liegt - zumindest in meinen Ohren - zwischen einem Remo Ambassador und Emperor, Tendenz geht eher zum Emperor. Guter Attack, mittlerer Sustain.
Mein Fazit: Wer ein brauchbares Fell für einen wirklich kleinen Preis sucht, ist hier richtig. Wer einen besseren Klang zu einem vernünftigen Preis sucht sollte es eher mit einem Remo Encor Ambassador versuchen.

Ik heb deze als try-out gekocht om als reso-head te gebruiken en alleen voor live gebruik. Daarvoor werkt het prima. Het is geen high-end vel, dat voel en hoor je wel. De klank (als reso-head) is okay-ish. Specifiek voor deze kit (wat geen high-end kit is) is dat prima. Voor mijn andere meer kwalitatieve kits gebruik ik wel andere vellen.
