Thumbs up
I use the pedal with Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol A61, in home studio setting. It looks and feels more than adequate. It's quiet, smooth, and the pressure/weight is ideal, not too heavy, not too light. Would buy again if I ever have to.

Good price. No slipping.
Great price for a great pedal. Works perfectly, doesn't slip.
plus points:
I don't know of a pedal that comes close at this price point for the quality it offers.
It has great anti-slip at the bottom. It sits rock steady on the floor.
It does what it needs to do.
Cons
At one point there was a bad contact at the switch on the bottom. Which reverses the pedal (sustains when it isn't pressed). This meant that sometimes the notes would hang when releasing the pedal. Almost wanted to return it. But a quick back and forth on the switch fixed that. Still it seems a bit of a weak spot.
After extensive use for a week, it started to squeak. probably an easy fix, but I'm too lazy atm. I can live with it. However in a perfect world, it wouldn't even be there in the first place.

A pedal that won't slip away
Just an excellent product!
Naturally it complies with its basic functionality (sustain on and off).
But thanks to its generous and smart construction, this is a pedal that won't slip away! Wherever you place it, it will remain there as a rock.
I owned the same type of pedal made by Kurzweil and Yamaha, and to me the M-Audio feels better.
The construction is very sturdy and durable for a really affordable price!

Simple, solid. Works fine.
Doesn't feel flimsy at all - a surprise for the price. Stays put on carpet. Feels springy, like a piano pedal. It's a pity the cable is fixed to the pedal so you can't plug in a different length of cable. I went ahead and bought a second for another synth.

Nice pedal for the price
Nothing much to say about it, it is well worth the price and does the job as expected. I've been using it for 6 months now on a beginner level. Haven't noticed any issues, maybe I will do some tweaking in the future (dissassemble, clean, lubricate) just to improve the feeling, but that's totally unnecessary.
I don't see the point in buying premium/branded pedals if this one does its job.

A really good bargain
For such a low price this pedal has it all.
It is all metal construction apart from the non slip rubber base, it has a lovely action when used as a sustain pedal, you can reverse polarity and it is reasonably good when used as a switch say to change patches.
I have used a number of these pedals for a live rig over 10 years now and not one of them has broken and they get some abuse.
They work immediately with Yamaha keyboards and with Roland but I have not used them with anything else so I cant say but I would be confident in trying them.
So, why 4 star for quality? Well after a year or two on the road you will notice that the pedal starts to move from side to side and the sustain begins not to cancel. They are not broken but the low price has to count somewhere and what happens over a lot of usage is that the internal screws holding the pedal in place slacken. However its an easy fix with one screwdriver. Take out the five bottom screws, the top comes off and then simply tighten the internal two screws holding the pedal in place, put back together and you are good for another couple of years. Seriously, at this price buy 2 and carry a spare like I do just in case. They are that good for the money.

Works perfectly well.
This pedal is very responsive, heavy enough to stay in places, and after using it some 50 times it still worked perfectly fine. That's what I call a great product.

An ideal sustain pedal
As a beginner I was not sure what was needed, just learnt that the pedal that comes with my new keyboard was not up to the task. I looked around and found this one at a price that fit my budget nicely. I was not disappointed when it arrived, I plugged it in and it worked like a charm. Very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced quality sustain pedal.
