I play both jazz gigs and hardcore music on this bad boy, and it can handle both really well. Sire basses tend to not have the greatest electronics, but its a worthy sacrifice for what you get in feel and tone. The neck feels just amazing, and other than the bass being pretty heavy its super comfortable to play!
