Roasted necks and modern specs -Oh my!

Fantastic instrument for the price. Absolutely love the roasted neck, as well as the 24 frets, good luck finding that on any similar J! Pickups are solid, definitely worth the price, only gave a 4 because there ARE better, but those are $1000+ instruments so....

Mehr als nur ein Einsteigerinstrument!

Seit 40 Jahren mache ich professionell Musik, habe etliche Gitarren und Bässe, darunter auch richtig teure Instrumente. Und dann kam dieser Sire Bass ... und Leute: Ich falle echt vom Glauben ab. Der V5 hat ein enormes Tonpotential, klingt differenziert beim Fingerstyle und wuchtig beim Slappen. Alles passiv. Bespielbarkeit und Verarbeitung sind wirklich toll. Da gibt es nix zu mäkeln. Ich habe mir den Bass vor allem angeschafft, da ich einen passiven Bass mit Lollar-Pickups ausrüsten wollte. Das habe ich auch mittlerweile getan. Hätte es nicht gebraucht. Denn die Sire Pickups klingen voll amtlich. Die Lollar geben dem Bass nun noch einen stärken Jazz-Bass-Sound. Einen Bass in dieser Preisklasse darf es eigentlich nicht geben: Und doch steht er hier. Klasse!
