Sounds great, really nice tone to it. A lot of sustain however this can be easily dampened. Would recommend.

Good sounding bell

This has a fine sound - a "clang" sound, rather than a dry sound. As with all the LP grey bells, it suffers from corrosion inside. I also have the ES-11 bell, and I painted that with Hammerite anti-corrosion paint. This bell also needs that. Painting it does not alter the sound. This is a problem that LP needs to address. They tend not to be very responsive when one messages them, though. That aside, I recommend this bell.

Laut und viel Sustain

Krasses Teil.
Gross, laut und sehr offen klingend.
Ich habe sie ein wenig mit Klebepads gezähmt an meinem Timbale-Set, weil mir der Sound dann doch zu metallisch und offen war und ich mehr auf einen etwas gedämpfteren Bell-Sound stehe.
Man kann sie aber sehr differenziert (vorne/hinten/seitlich) anspielen und dadurch viele verschiedene Sounds erreichen.
Mächtiges Teil und am Timbale-Set für mich super.
Alle Daumen hoch :-)
Die setzt sich auch gegen/mit einen/m lauten Drummer durch.
Ich bin zufrieden.

Also ich hab mir das Ding leider nur online angeschaut und nicht auf die Größe dabei geachtet. Wollte eigentlich eine kleine Cowbell für mein Acoustic Set. Was dann per Post kam hat mich doch sehr überrascht . Ein riesiges Teil, bleischwer und völlig überdimensioniert für mein kleines Set. Wenn ich die hinhänge kippt mir der Ständer um ;-)

Sie kam auch schon mit einigen Kratzern und Fettflecken am Metall an, auch das Etikett war zerrissen. Wenn ich das Ding so zurückgeschickt hätte wäre mir bestimmt was abgezogen worden wegen Gebrauchsspuren. Ich hab die Cowbell dann meiner Sambagruppe überlassen, da passt sie gut dazu. Sie klingt sensationell schön, ein tiefer unaufdringlicher Ton, das ganze Ding also nur halb so groß dann hätte es gepasst.
