Awesome mic for the price
AndrewTelles 09.04.2020
I've owned this mic for 2.5 years and I've had great luck with it. The build quality is superb, the sound is fantastic, and the shock mount that comes with it is great. I wish it had a built-in roll off, but it's not a necessity for me. This is the first Lewitt mic I've owned and honestly, I enjoy it's sound more than the Rode NT1A I have. The next mic purchase I make, will most certainly be another Lewitt. If you're in the market for a good quality condenser for vocals, acoustic instruments, or even drums, do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

m
quality on a budget?
misterzenn 02.12.2025
I don’t have a baseline comparison to lean on — this is the first “proper” condenser mic I’ve used while building my home studio — but I was recommended it by people who know their stuff, and they weren’t wrong.

The 240 Pro is ridiculously easy to work with. Plug it in, give it the 48V it wants, and it just… behaves. Clear, detailed, no hiss, no weirdness, and it doesn’t punish you for not having a fully treated room (which, trust me, I don’t yet).

Vocals come through clean and honest. Spoken word sounds natural, warm, and without that muddy low-end you sometimes get with cheaper mics. It also handles louder passages without falling apart, which is ideal for someone like me who occasionally gets a bit enthusiastic in front of it.

Build quality feels solid, proper metal, no toy-like rattles. The included shock mount and pop filter make it feel like a complete package straight out of the box.

If you’re starting a home studio and want a mic that delivers without faff or fuss, the LCT 240 Pro is absolutely worth it — especially at this price.

r
Great for acoustic guitar
rznrg 20.01.2023
I am new to recording with microphone, so bear this in mind with my review.

Build quality: really sturdy
Frequency response: from what I can tell it boosts the highs a little
For amps: it gave back pretty much the original sound of the amp, so satisfied with it
For acoustic guitar: I liked the sound of recording acoustic guitar the best. It was really nice to hear it back
Vocals: I have a pretty low voice, so for my voice it is actually good that is brings out a little more highs :)

I have been using the microphone for 1 year, I haven't had a problem so far.I can tell that the microphone has a high pitched character, I don't know if it's caused by the acoustic in my room, but I feel like I'm getting deep sound,Other than that, I can call it a nice start microphone

loving it!

I was using an sm58 before, and these two can't even compare. It's so crisp and I love it on vocals & guitars (ukulele too) good for recording foley sounds around the house as well. Great for the price I really can't complain!

Stellar mic - Lewitt, you've done it again
Mordenacus 30.11.2024
TL,DR If you're looking for great sounding condenser on a budget, this is the one I'd go for.

Lewitt do awesome mics, and this one is no exception. If I had to pick only 1 mic to record an album other than drums, it would likely be this one. It has handled everything I've thrown at it very well: clean vocals, screams, high gain rhythm guitars, acoustic guitars, drum overheads and voiceovers/livestreaming all sounded great with this thing. I haven't had a chance to mic up a real piano yet, but you can bet that the first mic I'll reach for on that day is this one. I actually liked it so much that I bought a second one (albeit used) to use as drum overheads.

Great value

This thing is build like a soviet tank and works like an AK47... Very well build and looks great. Sounds great too. There's somethings around 8-9kHz but nothing serious. It gives you nature warm tone without that hush that most "budget" mics have.

Better than expected!
Terribly American 13.03.2024
For the price point, I compared it to the Rode NT1-A as a beginning mic to record vocals.

Between the two options, this one sounds a little bit more "sterile" but it's only a difference of low end presence really. It's very clear, no noticeable self noise at all, and even the packaging is designed to be used as a desktop mic stand. Everything by Lewitt Audio is excellent and this was the best pick I could have made for my first budget "studio" microphone.

For this price you get an powerful tool to record your voice or an acoustic instrument. Sounds fantastic, rich low end and clear hi mids, almost natural capture of signal without coloring. Looks solid and well manufactured. Recommended by professionals! 10/10

All I need at home
Tceko 19.02.2024
The mic has a bright sound so I only put a low cut and mostly sounds good. For most people that would be perfect.
The shock mount is well put which is very important to me.
Pros: It has everything you need for a home recording and nothing more.
Cons. The magnetic pop filter would've been nice.
