I have been buying Lee Oskar major diatonic harmonicas & reed plates for many years. Although it is cheaper to replace reed plates than complete harmonicas, it is still very expensive given the time they last. In addition I have had problems with "sticky" reeds & even returned one set for replacement.
I have tried contacting Lee Oskar & Tombo direct but have not even received a reply.
I subsequently bought a Seidl with stainless steel reeds in D & a Suzuki Pro Master in G & I am delighted with the results. The difference in quality & longevity more than compensate for the extra cost.
I shall not be purchasing any more Lee Oskar harmonicas in future.
