Für Profis die beste A saite die ich je unter den Fingern gehabt habe. Deutlich lauter als andere Saiten, dabei in keinster Weise metallisch. klingt wunderbar rund und weich, gleichzeitig stark. Ganz klare Aussprache und sofortige Ansprache. Der einzige Nachteil an den Larsen Saiten ist, dass man relativ schnell eine neue braucht. Bei circa 4 Stunden spielen am Tag braucht man durchschnittlich alle vier Monate eine neue.Aber für mich gibt es keine bessere.

Ich habe mein Joh. Bap. Ceruti Cello aufgerüstet und dabei "oben", also A und D, diese Magnacore Arioso Saiten aufgezogen ("unten" bei C und G sind es Thomastik Dominant pro). Die Saiten klingen sehr gut, sind gut anspielbar, sehr modulationsfähig. Man kann differenziert streichen und bekommt dabei unterschiedliche Klangschattierungen. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich unmittelbar nach der Umrüstung noch nichts sagen.
Obwohl mein Ceruti eine große Mensur hat (stolze 70,5 cm) und daher kräftig am Wirbel gedreht werden musste hatte ich keine Knack-Geräusche und bisher (toi toi toi) hält sie gut.
Fazit: Die Umrüstung war nicht billig, aber hat sich klanglich auf jeden Fall gelohnt.
